Peel HIV/AIDS Network (PHAN) invites clients to join us for the 2016 relaunch of the Legacy Project in Peel Region. Participants will take active roles in a mentorship network in the Peel region that will support PHA learning, sharing, and skills building. The project is a mentorship initiative developed by CAAT in Toronto with the aim of supporting long- term empowerment of people living with HIV/AIDS.
Participants in the Legacy Project will work alongside experienced mentors in working towards goals relating to individual areas of interest, such as career development, volunteer engagement, HIV prevention initiatives, and community support.PHAN will provide resources and support, and host quarterly check- in sessions that will  assist with relationship building, establishing boundaries, improving communication, and building leadership skills.  Monthly skills- building workshops will provide additional opportunities to further develop leadership skills.
There are two dates scheduled for the month of November. Please confirm your attendance with Faith at faithm@phan.ca or (905) 361- 0523 ext. 213.
