Totally Outright was a free 30-hour leadership program for young gay, bisexual, trans, and queer guys interested in being healthy, sex-savvy trendsetters ages 18-29. This includes trans guys, guys living with HIV, and guys from racialized and ethno-specific communities.
Our workshop series took place from late May to early June of 2016.
Our graduates learned about topics ranging from coming out to sex, drug related harm reduction to relationships, and a whole lot in between!
Participants of Totally Outright had the opportunity to:
- Connect with other young gay/bi/queer guys in their series and through alumni events and the alumni Facebook group after graduation
- Network, meet and learn from older gay/bi/queer guys who have contributed immensely to their communities
- Receive notice of general job postings, Totally Outright peer worker job positions, volunteer opportunities, advisory committee positions (upon completion of the program)
Keep an eye out for PHAN’s upcoming workshops and events to connect with more great communities in Peel!
PHAN recognizes that effective HIV prevention includes sexual health work developed by and of relevance to gay/bi and trans youth.
