For over two decades, the Peel HIV/AIDS Network (PHAN) has provided a growing array of health promotion, education, social and support services for people living with and affected by HIV. Through collaborative efforts and effective service delivery, PHAN has become a vital health and community service agency for the Region of Peel’s 3 distinctive communities of Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon. We are currently seeking an experienced leader who is ready to move into the role of:


This leadership position is a creative, strategic and courageous champion for the communities and issues that PHAN is committed to working with and on behalf of, including proposed Opioid Overdose Prevention Services. PHAN’s Executive Director is key to the implementation of an ambitious and exciting strategic plan that supports expanded programming, an increased advocacy role in the region, and the diversification of resources. Our Executive Director has a significant outward facing role aimed at maintaining and expanding our strategic partnerships and influence in the region. This role is the official staff spokesperson for the agency and represents PHAN to the media, government representatives, and partner agencies.

Working from an anti-oppression and anti-racism framework, our Executive Director will nurture and model a culture of authentic inclusion and cooperation among a diverse team of talented staff, peers, and volunteers. This opportunity will suit an experienced manager from the non-profit sector who is adept with all aspects of stakeholder engagement and understands the importance of nurturing inclusion and diversity.  We are looking for a collaborative leader with a solid understanding of HIV, sexual health, harm reduction and health promotion. You will work closely with our exceptional staff team and Board of Directors to provide leadership while making strategic, operational and administrative decisions with a focus on process improvement.
